BOSU/Disc

image of people working out on bosu equipment.

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I had reoccurring back pain in the shoulders and lower back from lifting and sitting for long periods for several years. I have had shin splints from walking or running since middle school. The Proadjuster and Dr. Enloe have changed all that. I no longer have any back pain, I sleep all night and can walk and run at will. I am only 50 and had thought my running days were over, but I don't feel that way anymore thanks to the Proadjuster. I feel great and have my freedom back. I'm looking forward to gardening this year! No more back pain from bending over. Thank you Dr. Enloe."
